Why does Ferramenta Lorenz have this name?
Different countries, different customs. In Italy, in the past, shops were identified more by the owner or the person who spoke to customers than by their sign. Thus, in the small town of Merate, to go shopping, they would say "I'm going to Maria's," for hair and beard care, "I'm going to Antonio's," and for a car, "I'm going to Comi's," obviously translated into the local Brianza dialect.
And for iron, small repairs, accessories, and furnishings in general? We went to Lorenzo, or rather LÖRENZ (read LURENZ), a name that has become
a symbol of tradition , continuity, and craftsmanship, and which today still allows you to go to LORENZ if you're looking for wrought iron.
